Nihari Masala is a rich and aromatic spice blend, perfect for preparing slow-cooked, flavorful Nihari stew with tender meat.

Garam Masala, Salt, Chili, Turmeric, Garlic, Fennel, and Mace

Marinate 500g meat in the Nihari Masala (leave 1 teaspoon aside for later). Fry onions until golden brown. Add the marinated meat and braise until brown. Then add 5/6 cups of water and cook for a few hours or until meat is soft. In a cup of water add 4 tablespoons of plain flour and mix well until smooth. Add this mixture to the Nihari and cook until thick. In a separate pan, braise ½ onion until golden brown, and add the leftover teaspoon of Nihari masala. Add this mixture to the Nihari pot. Garnish with fresh coriander and ginger slices.
